North Carolina Division of Aging and Adult Services
Senior Programs of the Madison-Mayodan Recreation Department strives to provide resources and activities to aid seniors, aged 55 or better, maintain an independent lifestyle and remain involved in the community. Services focus on programs to enhance the lives of the area's aging population by providing information, opportunity for physical and mental exercise, fun and fellowship.

A large variety of information is available on many topics including care giving, Social Security, Medicare, Hospice, Elder Abuse, Elder Law and much more. If we don't have answers to your questions, we'll make sure you are in touch with someone who does!

Bridge 9-11 a.m. Wednesdays Free Lessons and Beginning Play are available on request
Breakfast Club 8:30 a.m. First Friday Free Continental Breakfast, Program
Goldenagers 3:30 - 5 p.m. Fourth Tuesday Senior Service Club
M-M Fellowship Choir 9-11 a.m. Wednesdays September - Easter Free for all adults, small music fee requested. No audition required!
Lunch and Learn 12 - 1:00 p.m. Second Friday each Month Covered Dish, Fun Program
Piano Classes Classes are 20-minute one-on-one lessons. A special piano program is given in December and May,which will give the students an opportunity to perform. Performing in this program is not mandatory. Thursdays Cost is $40.00/month
Guitar Classes Classes are 30-minute one-on-one lessons. Acoustic or Electric. Thursdays Cost is $40.00/month plus $12.00 Book/CD

Landscape Painting Instructor: Geneva Massey (Donna Dewberry Certified Instructor) Beginning and Advanced classes available 8-Week Sessions 1-4 pm Wednesdays $65/Adults $50/Seniors 65+ Call for Supply List
Quilting (M&M Quilting Bees) 10:00AM - Noon First Tuesday of each month
